Jose Miranda, in the fourth inning of a contest between his Minnesota Twins and the Baltimore Orioles, secured not only the first hit of his Major League Baseball career, but also his first RBI. Miranda sent a ball off Orioles left-hander Bruce Zimmerman all the way to the center-field warning track, giving him enough time to make it to second base and for teammate Gio Urshela to come home and score. His debut RBI double broke the scoreless tie in what would end up a 7-2 win for the Twins.
