Shohei Ohtani continues to add new layers to his unprecedented skill set as he entered more uncharted waters in Tuesday night’s matchup against the Houston Astros. Ohtani became just one of three players in MLB history to record 10 or more strikeouts and play a non-pitcher position in the same game. The other two players to accomplish this feat were Sam McDowell in 1970 and Harvey Hendrick in 1952. “Showtime” shifted to right field after he tossed seven innings of one-run ball with 10 strikeouts.
