In just his seventh game in the big leagues, Kansas City Royals outfielder Bo Jackson launched his first career home run in a matchup between the Royals and the Seattle Mariners. The two-sport phenom connected on a pitch delivered from Mike Moore in the bottom of the fourth inning and sent it well over the left-center-field wall. "That ball was hit well over 500 feet," said then-Royals manager Mike Ferraro. "I was in awe. It was simply amazing." The Royals would go on to win, 10-3.
