The righty, who began the season in Single-A before advancing three levels to Toronto in September, became the second-youngest Game 1 starting pitcher in World Series history behind Ralph Branca (21 years, 267 days in 1947). Yesavage kept the Los Angeles Dodgers at bay through four innings of the Blue Jays 11-4 win.
