Though the no-hitter was lost in the eighth inning, Marquez's impressively low pitch count allowed him to throw a complete-game shutout with just one hit and zero walks. Marquez is the first pitcher since Julio Teheran in 2016 to throw a one-hitter with zero bases on balls.
