Jean Segura is the first player in MLB history to record a hit in each of his first 10 games of the season. The 28-year-old shortstop accomplished the feat with a single in the eighth inning of the Brewers' 6-2 win over the Cardinals on March 31. Segura, who was acquired by Milwaukee in the offseason from the Diamondbacks, has started the season with a .438 batting average (14-for-32) and has driven in six runs. The Dominican Republic native is a two-time All-Star and has been a consistent performer throughout his career, which began in 2012 with the Angels.
