The Houston Astros became the first team in MLB history to hit six home runs in the first two innings of a game when the team jumped out to an 11-0 lead at the beginning of the game. The offense scored 15 runs against the division-rival Oakland Athletics. Fresh off a 21-1 win over the Mariners, the Astros also became the first team to score at least 36 runs and allows one run or fewer in a two-game span.
