Max Scherzer joined Tom Seaver as the only pitchers to post eight straight seasons of at least 200 strikeouts. The devastating right-hander struck out eight batters in just 4 and 1/3 innings pitched to reach the 200-strikeout mark and helped lead the Washington Nationals to an 8-4 win.
