The 21-year-old took the second pitch of the game off the wall in right field to lead off with a double. Cavan Biggio flared the next pitch over the hole at shortstop to score Bichette and give Toronto the only lead it would need. Bichette later extended the team's lead to 2-0 with his third home run of the season.
