Blake Snell became the first pitcher in World Series history to strike out nine batters in less than five innings pitched. The Rays left-hander carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning, until a two-run home run snapped the bid for history. However, Snell gave the Rays enough to hand a lead over to the bullpen in an eventual 6-4 win.
