On August 15, Aaron Hicks became the first switch-hitter in MLB history to homer from both sides of the plate in consecutive games. The Yankees outfielder went deep from the left side in the third inning and then from the right side in the fifth, leading New York to a 7-4 victory over the Orioles at Yankee Stadium. Hicks finished the game 2-for-4 with two home runs, two RBIs and two runs scored. His historic performance helped extend the Yankees' winning streak to four games.
