Rowdy Tellez became the first Toronto Blue Jays rookie in history to hit two two grand slams in the same season, when he clubbed a home run over the right-field wall with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning. The grand slam put the Blue Jays up 6–1, over the Baltimore Orioles in an eventual 8–6 win.
