Friday night's game between the Angels and the Rangers was a memorable one for Albert, as he passed Hall-of-Famer Willie Mays on the all-time home run leaders list with a two-homer night. Pujols and Mays had been tied at 660 home runs until the 40-year old hit a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning. As an exclamation point, Albert slugged his second longball of the night in the seventh inning, leading the charge in what was a 6-2 win.
