Knotted up at 3-3 in the bottom of the ninth, fortunes didn't look very promising for the Indians as Brewers closer Josh Hader stepped on the mound. Hader had not given up a single hit this season until Oscar Mercado led off the frame with a double and then advanced to third on a wild pitch. With the stage set, Cesar played the walk-off hero with a hot shot through the hole between third and short, scoring Mercado to win the game.
