After the Twins fell behind in the top of the 10th inning, Jim Thome came through in the clutch like he had so many times throughout his career. Delmon Young led off the bottom half of the inning with a single and Thome came up with an MLB-record-tying 12th career walk-off home run. The two-run blast gave the Twins a pivotal, 7-6 win over the division-rival Chicago White Sox.
