The San Francisco Giants made it official with top South Korean prospect Jung Hoo Lee on Friday, inking him to a historical six-year, $113 million deal. Although the 25-year-old’s 2023 campaign with the Kiwoom Heroes was cut short, he put himself on the MLB radar with his 2022 MVP Award season in the Korea Baseball Organization. Lee expressed that he’s preparing himself for the challenge at the MLB level and helping his team win. “From Opening Day on, the fans will be impressed with (my) skill set,” he said through his interpreter.
