After Team Dominican Republic got out to an early 1-0 lead, Venezuela's Anthony Santander got things going for his team by hitting a solo shot to right field and tying the score at one. From there, reliever Luis Garcia took over, striking out a World Baseball Classic-record seven players, leading his team to a 5-1 win.
