Reds left-handed pitcher Nick Lodolo earned the first win of his Major League Baseball career when his Cincinnati Reds defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-1. Lodolo threw for five and 2/3 innings, striking out seven batters and walking none. Lodolo, who only let up one run, helped his Reds to turn the tide, giving them their first win since April 10th.
