Miguel Cabrera became the 30th player in MLB history to reach 3,000 hits when he lined a first-inning single off of Rays pitcher Chris Archer at Tropicana Field on April 24, 2021. The Tigers legend joined an exclusive club that includes legends like Hank Aaron, Willie Mays and Derek Jeter. Cabrera, who was 38 years old at the time, became the oldest player to reach the milestone and the first Venezuelan-born player to do so. The milestone hit came in Cabrera's first game back after being placed on the injured list with a left knee sprain.
