Few would refute Sammy Sosa's status as one of the most impressive sluggers in Major League Baseball history, and on this day in 2007, he recorded the 600th home run of his career. During a game between his Texas Rangers and his old Club, the Chicago Cubs, Sosa connected with a pitch from Jason Marquis in the fifth inning to send the milestone longball over the right-center-field wall. Sosa's home run played its part in his Club's 7-3 victory on the day.
