It’s not often that a relief pitcher throws for seven strikeouts over three innings, let alone does so consecutively. Amazingly, that’s what New York Yankees relief pitcher Michael King did last night in his Club’s contest against the Cleveland Guardians. King, who struck out eight batters total in his three-inning stint, became only the third reliever in Yankees history to do so.
