New York Yankees starting pitcher Nestor Cortes was nearly untouchable on Sunday afternoon - striking out a dozen Baltimore Orioles batters in five innings. Three of those came in the fourth inning, when the 27-year-old tossed the first immaculate inning of the 2022 season. Cortes sat down Anthony Santander, Ryan McKenna and Robinson Chirinos on nine consecutive pitches and became the first Yankees pitcher to strikeout 12 or more in an outing of five innings or fewer.
