Manny Machado's first home run of the 2022 MLB season was, shockingly, his fifth hit of the game in last night's contest that pitted his San Diego Padres against the Atlanta Braves. Machado's consistency at the plate was remarkable, as the Miami, Florida native drew up four base hits and scored four runs. It's safe to say that Machado's contributions did much to help his Padres tower over the Braves, 12-1.
