Boston Red Sox outfielder Fred Lynn had one of the most explosive rookie seasons of all time; as a result, he was crowned 1975's American League Rookie of the Year. In addition to being absolutely dominant in the outfield, Lynn was a force to be reckoned with at the plate and on base. Lynn led the League in runs scored with 103 and doubles with 47, and also finished his rookie campaign with an incredible .331 batting average.
