St. Louis Cardinals prospect Nolan Gorman wasted little time making an impression in the Majors. The 22-year-old laced a 1-2 offering from Pirates starter Zack Thompson through the shift to pick up his first hit. Gorman had been off to a torrid start in the Minors with 15 home runs and a gaudy .308 batting average in 133 at-bats and is expected to provide plenty of power for the Cardinals this season.
