The left-handed slugger went 3-for-5 at the plate with three home runs and five RBI. This was Williams’ second three-homer game of the season, becoming the first player in American League history with multiple three-homer games in a single season. “I can hardly believe that’s a record,” Williams told the Associated Press after the game.
