Mark McGwire led the charge for the Oakland Athletics in their 8-1 victory over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The right-handed slugger was 3-for-4 with three longballs and three RBI in the win. All three of his towering home runs traveled well over the iconic Green Monster wall in left field. The day before, McGwire belted two home runs to bring his grand total to five over the course of 48 hours.
