In the top of the eighth inning, Jose Abreu reached 200 career home runs by way of grand slam. The reigning AL MVP is now just the fifth Chicago White Sox player in franchise history, and the sixth Cuban-born player, to reach the two-century mark. The first baseman finished the night going 1-for-4 with five RBI. Both of Abreu’s longballs thus far on the season have been grand slams.
