With a three-games-to-two edge in the 1993 World Series, the Toronto Blue Jays headed back to the SkyDome for Game 6 with a chance to capture the title. Trailing, 6-5, in the bottom of the ninth inning with runners on first and second base, Joe Carter was up to bat looking to end the game. The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, product connected on an inside pitch and sent it over the left-field wall for a walk-off, World-Series-clinching blast. The 52,195 fans erupted as Carter rounded the bases with fireworks exploding in the background. Joe was met by his teammates at home plate, and was carried off the field on their shoulders.
