OCTOBER 17, 1982 — With a four-hit performance in Game 1 of the 1982 World Series, Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Robin Yount pulled off the feat once more in Game 5. The Brewers offensive sparkplug went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and one RBI to help secure the 6-4 victory. With this performance, Yount became the first player in MLB history to have multiple four-hit contests in the World Series.
