One of the bright spots early in the 2021 MLB season has been the incredible start that Chicago White Sox starter Carlos Rodón has gotten off to. The 28-year-old southpaw, who made news with his April 14th no-hitter, has won every start he's made (5-0), recorded 7+ strikeouts in each outing and allowed five or less hits. The only other pitcher in American League history to put up these numbers from the season's start was Boston's Pedro Martinez in 2000, a year that saw him win his third career Cy Young Award.
