Charlie Blackmon became the first player in Rockies history to hit three home runs in a game twice in his career. The first came on April 13, 2019 against the Padres at Petco Park. The second came on this day, August 15, 2021, in a 12-4 win over the Diamondbacks at Coors Field. Blackmon went 4-for-5 with a double and three home runs, driving in six runs. His third home run of the game was a solo shot in the bottom of the eighth inning, capping off a dominant offensive performance.
