The reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Shane Bieber tossed another quality start in yesterday's 5-3 win over the Chicago White Sox. Bieber fanned 11 batters over six innings of work and only allowed three runs on seven hits. The 25-year-old ace finished yesterday's outing with 68 strikeouts on the season thus far, the most by any pitcher in MLB history through the month of April. Shane also has now fanned at least eight batters in 18 straight starts, breaking Hall of Famer Randy Johnson's record of 17 straight set in the 1999-2000 season.
