Ryan accomplished this feat with the California Angels in 1978. Jacob put together another brilliant performance to reach this mark, as he pitched six innings of one run ball with nine strikeouts. On the year, deGrom is sitting with an ERA of 0.51 over 35 innings of work and an outrageously low WHIP of 0.57.
