On April 23, 1999, Fernando Tatis Sr. made MLB history as he launched two grand slams in the same inning against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. On the same day 22 years later, against the same team in the same stadium, his son Fernando Tatis Jr. accomplished a similar feat as he obliterated two monstrous homers to lead the San Diego Padres to a 6-1 victory. Tatis Jr.'s home runs were recorded at an exit velocity of 113.4 mph and 115.9 mph, per Statcast, both the two hardest-hit homers of his career. The 20-year-old phenom finished the game 3-for-5 with 3 RBI.
