Trey Mancini has now completed the comeback of a lifetime. The Baltimore Orioles first baseman was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer nearly a year ago in early 2020. Up against all odds, Trey fought the disease, and ultimately came out on top. Now, a year later, Mancini is at the top of the Baltimore Orioles lineup for Opening Day. In the season opener win over the Boston Red Sox, Trey was able to reach base safely twice including a base hit in his last at-bat.
