Andy entered the game as defensive replacement in the sixth inning and quickly made the most of his at-bats. Young picked up his first MLB hit with a double in the bottom of the seventh inning and later added his second hit of the game with a single in the eighth frame. The second baseman posted a solid .271 batting average in the Minors in 2019 and is primed to work his way into a larger role with the Diamondbacks if he continues to perform when he receives at-bats.
