The Rays received a stellar start from veteran right-hander Charlie Morton, who allowed just two hits over 5 and 2/3 innings, eventually turning a 4-0 lead over to the bullpen. Despite the Astros showing some life, Pete Fairbanks tossed a dominant 1 and 1/3 innings out of the bullpen to lock down the win.
