The Yankees demonstrated resiliency in an electrifying, 10-9 win over the Indians to advance to the ALDS. Falling behind early, 4-0, the Yankees showed fight. Gio Urshela provided a pivotal grand slam in the fourth inning and the Yankees eventually took a 6-4 lead. The Indians tied the game twice — once at 6 and then later at 8 runs apiece. The Indians then took the lead, 9-8, in the eighth inning. Yet, the Yankees weren’t done. The Club loaded the bases in the ninth inning, tied the game with a sac fly and got a go-ahead single from DJ LeMahieu to take the lead for good and earn an ALDS matchup with the Rays.
