Tyler Stephenson delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning to lead the Reds to a 5-4 victory over the rival Cardinals. The Reds rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the 8th inning, scoring three runs on a two-run homer by Aristides Aquino and a pinch-hit RBI single by Josh VanMeter. The Cardinals had taken a 4-1 lead in the 7th inning on a two-run homer by Paul DeJong, but the Reds tied the game in the bottom of the 8th on a two-run double by Nick Senzel. The Reds bullpen held the Cardinals scoreless in the 9th and 10th innings to set the stage for Stephenson's game-winning hit.
