Lucas made history on Tuesday evening, spinning his first career no-hitter in a 4-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates. This was the 19th no-hitter in White Sox Club history, but it was the first time a White Sox pitcher had reached double-digit strikeouts (13) in doing so. Giolito only needed 101 pitches to complete the feat, the fewest thrown in a no-hitter with at least 13 strikeouts since the pitch-count era started in 1988.
