Pete Alonso's historic rookie campaign was one of the most memorable in MLB history. The first baseman won the 2019 T-Mobile Home Run Derby, set the MLB single-season rookie home run record with 53 longballs, and became the first rookie ever to outright lead MLB in home runs. Alonso set various Mets and League records in a season where he also batted .260 with 155 hits and 120 RBI to go along with his slugging prowess.
