Veteran Cole Hamels signed a one-year, $18-million contract with the Atlanta Braves. A former World Series MVP Award winner and four-time MLB All-Star will bring experience to a young and talented rotation for the Braves. Hamels struck out 143 batters and posted a solid 3.81 ERA in 2019 for the Chicago Cubs.
