Pete Alonso tied the New York Mets single-season home run record when he clubbed the 41st big fly of his dominant rookie campaign. Two other Mets have reached 41 home runs in a season, including Todd Hundley in 1996 and Carlos Beltran in 2006. Alonso reached 41 home runs in just his 128th game.
