Gary Sanchez crushed a third-inning home run off the Dodgers Hyun-Jin Ryu for the 100th home run of his career. In doing so, he became the fastest catcher in Major League history, and the fastest American League player overall, to collect 100 home runs. The milestone came in Sanchez's 355th career game. Only Ryan Howard reached the feat quicker (325 games).
