Gleyber Torres
YOUNGEST EVER WITH 7 MULTI-HR GAMES IN 1 SEASON
TORRES HITS THE CYCLE! Gleyber Torres (700) became the 11th player in Yankees history to hit for the cycle on July 17, 2019 at Yankee Stadium. The 22-year-old infielder went 4-for-5 with a single, double, triple and home run, driving in six runs in the Yankees' 14-12 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Torres' historic performance included a two-run homer in the first inning, a two-run double in the third, a RBI triple in the fifth and a solo shot in the seventh. He also made a spectacular diving catch in the outfield to help preserve the victory. The cycle is one of the rarest feats in baseball, and Torres joined an exclusive club that includes Hall of Famers like Mickey Mantle and Derek Jeter.
