History was made in Oakland as Rickey Henderson became the all-time stolen base leader with his 939th career swipe. In the bottom of the fourth inning against the Yankees, Henderson, already on second, broke for third and slid in safely ahead of catcher Matt Nokes' throw. An eight-minute ceremony featuring former leader Lou Brock soon followed. How ironic that Rickey's speed brought the game to a screeching halt!
