After impressing Royals coaches throughout Spring Training and Summer Camp, Brady Singer was named to the Club's starting rotation and got his chance to face off against big-league hitters on Saturday against Cleveland. The 23-year-old allowed two runs on three hits while striking out seven over five innings, getting a no-decision. Singer's start combined with five scoreless innings out of the bullpen kept the contest tied until Maikel Franco's sac fly in the 10th gave the Royals the 3-2 edge.
