Chad Pinder came to the plate with the game tied, 5-5, with two outs in the bottom of the ninth and a runner in scoring position. Pinder lined a base hit to right-center field, driving in the game-winning run from second base. The 6-5 victory capped a series sweep of the division-rival Texas Rangers.
