Dwight Smith Jr. leapt high at the left-field wall and pulled back a would-be, two-run home run off the bat of Adam Engel to end the second inning. The outstanding play kept the score tied, 0-0, and Smith Jr. later added a three-run home run to lead the Baltimore Orioles to a 9-1 win over the Chicago White Sox.
